|
Saturday March 12, 2005 10 am - 4 pm |
Mountain View Grill Highland Manor Inn Townsend, Tennessee |
The Black Satchel was chosen as the name for our newsletter, and has become a nickname for the group. In the southern Appalachians, a Black Satchel was a Class A Climax steam locomotive, which was so easily picked up and moved to the next job by a logging company.
| We will meet from 10 to 12 am at the Mountain View Grill, next door to the Little River Railroad and Lumber Company Museum, and have our lunch there. | After lunch we will move across the street to the Conference Center at the Highland Manor Inn, where we will have plenty of room and facilities for presentations. | |
